When Will I Need 64 Bit Processing?

Considering upgrading my motherboard in three months, I was wondering if 64 bit processing would be an issue for me in the near future? I play music, movies, games, browse the internet and occasionally work in office applications...

imo, there is not much need for it right now. Maybe in another year or so it will become a force but right now there is not much out there for it.

I would say that if you are not a serious gamer or Designer (3d, animation, semi-pro video editing) there there is no need.
