 Hi everyone...Number 1 problem: I have this problem with Spybot...Every time I run Spybot it will come up with 1 problem and than they say they fix'ed it but it seams like the problem comes back every time I run Spybot and the same thing shows up again...Here it is:
Problem: Data Source object exploit; Kind: 1 entries
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows Registry change
How can I get this fixed so it wont be coming up anymore :(
Number 2 question: My husband wants to know how he can play music off
the sound card on his PC...He has a WindowsXP home...2.08GHZ...512 MB... 120GB.....He has 5+1 speakers connected to his PC and has a lot of music downloaded to his WMP and the Musicmatch Jukebox...He is playing music w/family & friends in a private chat room.....I told him that he is playing music off his sound card all ready , but he does'nt believe me.I guess it's because some people can keep sound real good and also have real good sound and strong..Is there anything he can do to make it work the way he wants it to work for him? He is not connected to a Stereo or a Boom Box..Please, help me and tell me if I'm right or wrong on this one about palying all ready off from his sound card :cry2:
Any answer to my problems is very appreciated.....
Thank you ,........Gabriele

Hi,
For your first problem, the registry one, this might not be serious but you could download Adaware and see if that gets rid of it. Also download HiJack This, and post up a log
For you other question what ever music is comming out of the speakers is comming from the sound card (as the speakers are connected to the sound card;) )
Hope this helps

HI blakey81 & Sarkie, thanks for getting back with me on my problem...
I did what you said blakey81 & downloaded the Ad-aware and run it but it did not get rid of of the DSO exploit...I had run Spybot twice and it keeps coming up...Spybot is fix'n it but if I run it again it will come up again...
I will post Hijck this log here that I had done after that...
Sarkie, I haven't done it yet what you suggested ,I have to find out first how to do that. :(
Here is the hijk log.....Hope someone can make sense out of that...I don't know much about PC's :( any help is very appreciate it...Thanks;..

Hi,
I had a look at your HiJack This log and I think you got some stuff to get rid of.
I would post your log into the Cybersafety forum as someone who knows more on HiJack This logs will check it, but here is what I think should be fixed:
O16 - DPF: {F00F4763-7355-4725-82F7-0DA94A256D46} (IMDownloader Class) - http://www2.incredimail.com/content...er/imloader.cab
C:\PROGRAM FILES\BACKWEB\BACKWEB\PROGRAM\BACKWEB.EXE
I would advise you not to delete these as im not expirenced on HiJack This logs.

no problem, I'm trying to learn about HiJack This logs, knowing what good and whats not. How did you get on with your husband and the sound card business?
