Hi. Here's my situation. I have a 2001 laptop running Windows 98 SE with a USB 1 connection and have purchased a new laptop running XP with a USB 2 connection. They both have a serial printer port.I need to transfer about 10 GB info or more from the old to the new and neither computer will be hooked up to the internet. Also I should mention I'm not the most tech savy person on the planet ![]() Some questions, will my different operating systems be an issue? Also, should I go with parallel or USB connection? (this is a one time thing, so which is simplest) If I have to use USB how to get around the different versions? Thanks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much.
