Ramses if your client that came with Fedora doesn't work than I'd say there is a problem there. You could get and run Wine then use windows apps that way but why not try and fix the problem with your Messagin client?

Question Messanger client

Thanks bAdWaYz

I fix the problem with the messaging client but ...
The internet server at our office has a proxy. In windows I can log without any difficulties but in linux.... There always apper an error log that say the proxy is not correct. I believe our network administrator has blocked the ports needed for such applications. In windows (XP) I have installed a proxy client app.

So do you have any advise for me to this problem? I forget to tell that internet server is running under windows 2000 server.

Lot of thanks ...

My advice is to either 1. Correctly config linux for the connection you are using "ie the proxy".
2. Don't use a chat client at work, if the admin has blocked the ports that such apps use I'd say he/she doesn't want you chatting at work. If you do anything to get around this that is wonderful but if the admin is wise he/she will see what you are doing and you may be in trouble.
