I own a laptop with 801.1g wireless that I will be taking with me on a trip around the U.S in my RV.
What I would like to do is extend the range somehow, so I can more easily connect to a wireless network such as a T-mobile hotspot from inside my RV, instead of having to be inside an internet cafe or bookstore.
Is there something like an access point/router with a big antenna I can use to extend my range?
I know there are antennas and access points/routers that I can buy, I am just not sure if that is what I need. Since I am not the server, but the client.
