hi,
I am having problem with MAC address of my network card, it is being displayed FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF, instead of the correct MAC address, Usually i fix it by uninstalling the Driver and then again When i use add new hardware, it includes my newtwork card with correct MAC address. And then i use net it works fine like this. But when i switch off or restart my computer the MAC address is changed again to FF.... and then i have to continue the process of uninstalling and adding.Actually this problem started after reinstalling Windows XP with SP2. Before reinstalling the network card had no problems with MAC address. I use Linksys LNE 100TX Fast Enthernet Adapter (LNE 100TX v4) ,WindowsXP, EliteGroup motherboard. regards

I will assume, you have installed second beta release of sp2. The only solution i can think of right now is to uninstall sp2, and wait until the final release comes out. Even then it might screw it up, sp2 is expected to screw up quite a bit, especially since it sets a bunch of useless resource hogging apps on by default. Anywho thats my suggestion for now.

You could also try a different Network Card.
They are pretty cheap.
