Check your security settings. Also check tools - internet options - advanced - scroll down and make sure java is selected.

You can also run this test to see if it is installed.

Ok here's a quick test - paste this into the address bar and hit return, see whether you get a popup on the screen

javascript:alert("If you can see this, JavaScript is turned on");

let us know the result.

What browser are you using? I.E. I suspect but try Firefox 0.9.2 and see if you have the same problem.

Angry Javascript problems also i think!!!???

Renegade..
Help i think i am having almost the same problem. Whenever i click on a link nothing happens it freezes for couple minutes and stays on the same page. Never loads. Its usually a javascript popup or whatever becuz of what it says at the lower left hand corner of the page. I tried what you replied to the other person. http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm
I tested it and both of the java applet and scripts i could see.
I also tried to paste the other thing u had and i could see the pop up. Also under internet tools advanced options java is checked so i dont know whats going on? This is a major prob for me. Sometimes i have to actually paste the links into the address bar and sometimes that dont work. Please help. Oh i have internet explorer 6 Expansion pack XP Sp 2 i believe. I would really appreciate your help becuz i am no good with understanding what javascripts are and what to do with them. Sorry this was so long
Thanx
