Can't get rundll32.exe to work

Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong. My rundll got deleted by a virus. Now I tried to download it again and copied and paste it to windows and it still doesn't work. Without that I can't get into anything in my control panel. I also can't do anything in disk cleanup. Also when I try to open things in my documents it locks up the computer and it want shut down. Please help me. :dizzy:

The first thing to try (have your Windows CD handy, it may ask for it):

1. Go to the Start Menu, click on Run
2. Type in "sfc" (without the quotes), click OK
3. Click on "Scan for altered files" is probably already selected but if not, click on it to select it
4. Click on Start

See if that fixes things for you.
