Knoppix 3.4 Trouble please help me!!
ok i downloaded Knoppix 3.4 and when i booted it up and hit enter the detection looked to go just fine as far as finding everything but after it does that and goes to the next screen to load the desktop the monitor goes black...and stays black and blinks on and off and then i hear the voice saying "initiating start sequence" and well...nothing starts...monitor continues to blink
so i read up on the cheat codes and tried using the following codes: knoppix noapic knoppix noscsi knoppix noagp knoppix vga=788 knoppix vga=normal acpi=off nopcmcia knoppix screen=800x600 and even 1024x768 so far none of these commands work as far as solving the problem...and the testcd says the cd is fine so far the only way i have been able to boot linux up with no trouble is by using failsafe and thats all i can get to work...i have never used linux before so could somebody please help me.
