Hi:wave:,

I don't no much about networking but I wish to connect two computers up, but both computers don't have network cards installed. So I want to do it Via USB.

So the question is what kind of USB cable do I need? Will I need something like this:

USB A/Male-B/Male Cable 2 MTR

Would that work?

Im guessing I need a male to male connecter ends

Any help will be apprciated,

Cheers;)

To be perfectly honest, usb networking is a pain and there are alot of problems associated with it.

See this (http://www.wown.com/j_helmig/usbmain.htm) for more info about networking via usb.

Cheers for the site, some one told me that to do this I will need a USB crossover cable, but I couldn't find one.

So im not going to bother doing networking via USB rather go out and buy two network cards and cable and do it that way

Hi,

I had to use a usb network adapter because i had no choice all 4 ports taken up on mother board. Therefore I used a Belkin usb adapter Plug and play with XP A belkin 5 port switcher plugged it all in a XP and 2000. PC cillin firewall set to office on firewall and can share files internet gaming and messenger.
This might help.
