my network connect is not working. I have a connection but only sending in
network activity no recieving. eventid 7023 7024 1006 i have tried a few things with no result. help?
tried another nic same problem. tried another pc no problem there.

What os's? Try moving card to another pci slot and make a new connection. Make sure you have the correct protocols and client installed.Try ping from cmd prompt, ipconfig,make sure they have different addy's. Make sure you have a least one shared folder on every comp. and file and printer sharing is installed. Are they 2 different operating systems? IE: win98>XP. What kind of network, hardware?

2kpro os, i am confident that the problem is software probably os corupt somewhere but not sure what to do to fix. when i try renew ip from command prompt the eror message reads something like ...operation attempted on something that is not a socket.
