I tried to install a Linksys PNA (54 Mbite - g version) into my 'old' box yesterday, a pIII with ASUS P2B-F motherboard that has been working fine for years. As soon as I did, it would not boot - not even the friendly 'beep' from the AGP graphics card. I remove the PNA, it's fine. Put it back, it doesn't boot, not even enough to get to the bios screen.
To trouble shoot I removed all the daughter cards that I could, all but the ATI Raedon graphics card, with no results.
I suspect an IRQ conflict with the graphics card. Has anyone else seen such a conflict? Are there any other possiblities I'm overlooking?
