I need to make a cd with some pictures on it. I could use adobe or make a pps file but I'm not sure if the people viewing will have those viewers. On top of that, I don't know what OS people will be using.

Does anyone know of a program that can make an exe file that will present jpg's or mbp's?

Thanks!

Howdy:

Why not just make it a pps show and include the pps viewer available free from the Microsoft website??

We don't want the person to have to install to view the pictures.

I've seen a program to make an exe file view but can't remember where....

Will powerpoint let you extract a setup to where the files are, then you can just click on the picture without actually have ppt installed?

I haven't personally tried it but IrfanView says they can make an exe slideshow. From the help section:

"You can also save the current slideshow also as self running EXE or SCR file (standalone executable/screen saver). First, create and run a slideshow. Now, if all slideshow options work as you wish, click the Save as EXE/SCR file button. The result file is standalone and can be distributed easily."

Worth a look, it's freeware.
