Seems like a nice little rig and quite competitively priced. Will handle reasonable gaming and all your surfing needs.

I've been giving that model disc drive a right hammering for about 18 months and it's still sweet as a nut. (It gets shifted between differnet machines quite regularly too).

Used that config of mobo a few times too, and it runs ok once you've downloaded the latest mobo drivers from the site listed in the manual. Can run like a pig before you do that, depending on how long the retailer has had it on the shelf.

Stick a combo DVD/CD writer in it too and it'll last you a good few years before it needs a hop-up.

Spend the extra 10 bucks and get a VERY QUIET cpu fan. Worth their weight in gold.

Have fun (and remember, Athlons last about a nano-second without the fan/heatsink attached - 3 times I've done it now DOH!)
