I have a Compaq 1810 laptop that has a bad Floppy. I am unable to get a new one at the moment due to being in Saudi Arabia.
My hard drive was reformated, but it is now not working properly. I can not seem to reformat it due to having the wrong version of Format.com. I do not have the restore disks, but I am able to get a C:\ using another restore version. How can I reformat this harddrive and load Win 98 back on it? The Win98se disk will not seem to boot on it. THANKS IN ADVANCE! MOJO |

first of all, why did you reformat the first time. The problems might be related.
