Ok...here's the skinny.

I downloaded a plug-in from space.com that allows photoshop to do certain things that NASA does to their pictures they send all over the world. It is called Photoshop FITS Liberator. When I click to install, for it is in application form, it goes through a process, i assume reading for photoshop, and pops up with the following message:

Photoshop FITS Liberator 1.0 Setup

Photoshop was not found on this computer, please install photoshop or photoshop elements before proceeding.

OK

I checked, photoshop 6.0.1 (updated from 6.0) is installed...I even used it to edit a picture. I found the plug-in dll file as another site sujjested could be the problem. I reinstalled photoshop, without update, to no avail, with update, same. I tried directly pasteing the "application" IN the plug in folder of photoshop, in desperation, aviously didn't work. I tried to import it through Photoshop, however could not find any such options in any of the tabs on the top. I searched through the Photoshop "help" and couldn't find "help." I searched my question online and found two sites advertising, one site that told me of the plug-in, and one porno site.

Please help me!!!! *sigh* i'm no computer wiz when i can't find out what is wrong and i posted here because "technical support" and i have XP. Thanks for reading, i hope you guys can help.

according to this (http://www.spacetelescope.org/projects/fits_liberator/), it requires photoshop 7.0. You do not meet the requirements.
