Games and Printer showing rectangles instead of text

My computer has developed a problem recently. Two of my kids' games show only rectangles where there text (there is one rectangle for each letter). This also happens when I print from Netscape 7.0 (printing from IE is fine).

Any suggestions as to what causes this? Any solutions?

Reinstall Netscape 7.0 is the easies fix there it uses a different font then IE.

As for the boxes???

Only two particular games or all of them????

How about desktop icons, or maybe typing text in a document...do you get them..??
