problem with recording cds!

hi everyone! im having a problem for some weeks and nobody seems to be able to help me :(
everytime i record a divx (avi) file to a cd i cant watch anymore! unless i copy it back to the hdd! when i try to open from the cd media player shows a visual c++ runtime library related error! i've taken the recorded cds to other computers and the same error appears, so the problem must be with the recording of the cds!

can anyone please help me?! :(

Are you converting it in any way when you burn it to the cd?

i simply copy them to the cd as a data cd! i use nero, but i tried ashampoo for example! help me...my disk is getting full...i like this it will remains that way coz i cant copy them to cd lol

thanks!I have the same exact problem!
Only the big avi files seem to have this problem, maybe some sort of anti-rip thing in nero, may I ask what version you are using?
I'm on 5.5.10.56 using LiteOn SOHW-812S DVD+RW
Same thing happens even if I burn the same file to a CD or DVD, but smaller files play just fine...
Now I'm out of disks, anyone have solutions before I waste any more? :S
