Question

Everything is connected like instructions said. Jumpers are set. Hard drive is primary ide, cd rom is on secondary. On power up hard drive doesnt spin and cd rom will not open. On bios setup it only shows my 3 1/4 drive. On first boot up when it searches for IDE it says bios not installed. What do I do?

Hi Grizzlyguy

Take a look in the BIOS for an option to
turn off the Promise raid controler.

Drive does not spin?

I believe you should never overlook the obvious, are you sure the 4-pin plugs from the power supply are plugged into the IDE drive and CD-ROM?
