I've finally got my LiveJournal looking exactly how I want it: http://heathabear.livejournal.com
The only problem is, when I go into the friends view, http://heathabear.livejournal.com/friends, the userpic table and the mood/music table interfere with each other, I think, and they both become the same thing. How do I fix it so that the mood/music field is by itself on the left, and the userpic field is by itself on the right? Thank you so much for any help you can give me, and I apologize profusely if my stupidity is making your head hurt. :p

Wow, so many nested tables I got lost in there. :dizzy:
You can uncover the hidden text but the layout may not look the way you want. But the fix is easy and at least it'll be legible.
I think this will fix it. Save your changes so you can try something else.
In the style section of the head, change this:
table table table {width: 25 em};
to this:
table table table {width: auto};
EDIT: Oops, just noticed you made some changes since I looked at it last. Whatever you did on your own worked. This change will make it full width instead of on the left though. ;)

Thanks so much for replying!
What you suggested made it look exactly how I want it to, except when entries aren't long enough width-wise, then the icon ends up right next to wherever the text ended instead of on the right. Sorry for all the trouble, and thanks so much for your help!

Hi,
The Friends Page is looking much better, but it's still not quite right - the short entries are still going toward the middle. Would you mind taking one more look? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks so much!

Thanks so much!Looks like the problem is you have the alignment set to the right. I believe all you have to do is set it to the left.

Thanks. I tried changing several different fields from right to left, one at a time, but none of them worked. LiveJournal's style editor has a bunch of different fields, and I think the problem might be somewhere in there, but I don't know where. Could you take a look at it? I saved the page, logged out of LiveJournal, and uploaded the page to my site since otherwise you can't see the edit style page without being logged into my account. Would you mind taking a look at it? I'd really appreciate it.
