Hi, I would appreciate if anyone can tell me how to uninstall Nortons Systems Works so I can re-install it again. At startup, it's telling me that NAV autostart cant be started due to a missing file and It's annoying to have to click out of this everytime. Somehow, NSW is not in my add/remove list in control panel and I can't reinstall NSW because it tell me I have it installed already. It does not work properly and I can't remove it Help!, anybody!

Did you go thru programs? You can't uninstall it from control panel. go to programs, find the norton application and use the uninstall there. If you can't get that to work we can walk you thru deleting it from the registry.
PS
I hate Norton

It's not in Programs, but it is still in my computer somehow. Any help in getting rid of it would be greatly appreciated.

Run this Rnav2003 utility ftp://ftp.symantec.com/misc/consumer/Rnav2003.exe
Then you will need to manually remove the systemworks part of norton with this.

Before I start this, I think I deleted a "Recycle Bin" file. Now when I click on the recycle bin...it shows me a "C: " box. How do I restore the normal recycle Bin and not the Nortons Protected.Thanks.

I would do as i suggested first then attend to the recycle bin problem afterwords since it is a unrelated issue, not with norton.

you can go to symantec and they have instructions on how to remove NSW when you can't do it through ADD/REMOVE. click on link below

Thanks. I was able to finally remove it manually. Took awhile but I did it and then re-installed it. Now it's all working fine. Thanks!
