Hi, my problem is, we have a program mathsphere [file menue.pdf] that wouldent open it came up with Cannot open. Then a thing came up check on web for reasons or something like that. that came up with Adobe Acrobat.
I then downloaded Adobe Acrobat but when I clicked on that I got the same message, I tried clicking on the 'find on web' and it came up file unknown. [file adberdr602-ece-full.dmg. So whats going on? It all worked fine before re-format.

Hi gwilym - I am not sure but go here (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html) and see if you can download and install the latest version of Adobe Reader. Let us know how you get on.

Hi AnnMarie, I've already been on that site and downloaded adobe but am getting 'widows cannot open this file' then a choice of finding answer on web or from a list of programs to open it. I dont know which program to use.
On the web thingy it says unknown file.

Hi AnnMarie, you know me by now,not sure what file extention is.
Looked in properties and all I could get from that was that it's a DMG file.
The only other thing is AdbeRdr602-ece-full.dmg.
By the way I'm now on XP.
Never had any problems downloading Adobe in the past. Maybe I should delet it and try again. I'll wait and see what you think. Thanks.

Hi gwil, you downloaded the Macintosh version. Yep, delete it and go back to the link I posted and where it says Platform, choose Windows XP.

Just a quick question AnnMarie please, I've got Acrobat Reader 5.0. Should I uninstall it before installing ver 6?
Cheers.
