Help with PHPbb2 forum- Simple I know ?

Well, I have searched all over the place and I know the answer is posted 100's of times but for the life of me I cannot find it.

I am trying to put a Webring code on the Main index page of my forum. I tried several places Like (index.php,cp_config.php, index.html) and no matter where I put it , it would not display on the main index screen for all users to see !

I know it is right under my nose but could someone Please tell me which file I have to modify to get it to show up on the main index page of the forum. I would like to put it in a Globle file if possible. I have no problems with Invision forum but PHPbb2 is very confusing to me. This is Javascript code I am trying to put in the code of PHPbb2.

Any help is Greatly appreicated.

I haven't used phpBB2 for a while, but is there a section in the AdminCP for a Board Wrapper, Header or Footer?

Else you can edit the skin files.
overall_header.tpl or overall_footer.tpl in the Skin folder are the ones you need.

Thanks...I checked a lot of them but no there is no place to put headers or footers in the AdminCP ! Wish there was...would make it a lot easier...thanks a bunch for the help..believe me you have been a great help...
