This problem has been plaguing me for months now. I cannot get rid of this error. It appears in various circumstances, notably in MSoffice and Quickbooks.
What happens is that when I try and access certain functions(changing of font, color, templates in MSoffice; Invoicing, sales rec'ts and records in Quickbooks) the program freezes and gives me a box with this error message. I click OK and it reappears 3-5 times then the program goes into a non-responsive mode and stops working. I can restart the programs but the same problem occurs.
I have run various virus programs(Antivir, Norton, AVG, Penicillin), spyware blockers/finders (spybot, adaware), cleaner programs(Tune-up utilities, Ace utitilities, Norton) but have yet to find anything!! I have re-installed 2 seperate versions of MSoffice to no avail.
My system is a Sony Vaio p4 2.2ghz w/ 1Gb ram, 120Gb partioned Hard drive(20/100), connected to internet w/ cable modem.
Does anyone have any ideas? I need to fix this, it's driving me up the wall!
