Free antivirus software

Hi all,I'm currently using Norton av.It's such a memory hog.I'm thinking about trying one of the free versions,either AVG or Avast 4.Does anyone know if they both scan emails such as Incredimail.I know that AVG scans O/E,but I normally use Incredimail as my default.

Hi wombat, I moved your topic to the Applications forum as it's more suitable here. No, unfortunately, neither of the free AV's you mentioned scan Incredimail although their professional (payware) versions may do.
