I found an application error displayed on my desktop this morning - "The instruction at "0x51428c89" referenced memory at "0x51428c89". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate the program. Click Cancel to debug the program."
I terminated the program since I didn't know what it was.
I searched for DWHWIZRD.exe and it is in my Symantec AV program folder (Client version to Corporate Edition 8.0), but the Symantec Knowledge Base has no mention of this file. I scanned the file for viruses and it was clean. I also ran Ad-Aware to see if it showed up as mal-ware, and it only returned a few unrelated cookies.
Any ideas? Should I be concerned?
