Hi there. I am new to this forum, having found it only this morning. From what I have seen so far, this looks like a good place to visit and learn. I have a question I am hoping someone can help me with.

I use Windows XP and Outlook Express. For the past 24 hours, I cannot access any links in my email. I can point to the link, the cursor changes to the pointing hand and I can click, but then nothing happens. The cursor stays as the hand for about one minute, then goes back to an arrow, but the link did not open up at all.

This only started yesterday morning.

I can click on links in web sites, those open up just fine. It is only the email that is the problem. Any advice or help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. My knowledge of computers is just enough to be dangerous and none of my kids are any better than myself.

Thanks!

Spud

Welcome :)

See if you have a Restore Point that you can go back to.

Else try this
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;257464

Important bit is this

Click Start, and then click Run.

In the Run dialog type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
Click OK to acknowledge the success of the Urlmon.dll registration.

Degs:

That appears to work just fine.....thanks!

I've accessed some email from yesterday and also from today and as of this moment, it seems to be working like it was on Thursday.

You've made this site one of my top three favorites in a matter of minutes.

Thanks again and take care!
