help with outlook express

hi please could some one help i have hotmail as my default email provider how do i use outlook express as my default mail provider and do thay notify you when you receive new email many thanks diane

Do you have a POP3 account (email) with your ISP diane118? If not you will have to arrange that first. All the instructions should be on your ISP's Home Page.

if you have a pop3 account all you have to do is to create new account and follow the instructions in each window.

All the information that you need to create the account will be on your ISP's website Diane. Also, when you first open Outlook Express, it will ask if you want it to be your default email client, just click on Yes.
