Hi, guy's

I have 4,000 temp files, that I can't seem to delete. I tried tools, internet options, cookies&files. The next time I booted up they were back. I disabled
system restore and the cookies were gone so I couldn't delete them. When:raphael: I
reinabled it, they came running back. I was wondering if any of you guy's
have any suggestions-Ox

Hi buddy...do you mean temp files or temp internet files...they are different animals. A good way of deleting temp files is going to start>run and type %temp% You can delete everything in there....the folders will be re-created on reboot. To delete temp internet files go to tools in your browser>internet options>general tab>delete files>delete offline content.

Hi,

I was talking about temporary internet files. I also tried to boot into safe mode, no dice.
tool, internet optionals.%temp%. I also disabled system restore, but the temp. files left too. When I reinabled system restore, they came back.

Hi,

You could try a third-party cleaner such as Ace Utilities.
