Registered password problem

I need help. I registered to a website and received a password and log in name. (Like on this forum) Every time I visit the site it automatically logs me in. I do not want this to happen. I want to log in manually. Where on my drive is such password saved, and how do I get rid of it?

If it is a site login then you should be able to logout.
There should be a link somewhere on the site page to Logout.

Alternatively you can delete the cookie for that site from the cookies folder.
Or you can delete all cookies via Internet Options.
