Have old 133mmx notebook.

Formated c:, and was going to reinstall win95 from cd I made from the hard drive files. I don't have the origional win95 on cd

(No floppy drive on computer)

Well now all i get is "invalid system disk", no matter what I do. Computer is dead. Different boot cd's dont work at all and i cant seem to get into the bios either.

Other than that, everything is great.

if you cannot get into bios and you cannot use any boot disks, sounds like the computer is completely gone. When you turn on power, are you getting any type of noise?

Does the BIOS actually have an option for booting from the CD-ROM drive? Is the CD-ROM drive built in or external?

You may have to resort to removing the hard drive and connecting it to a desktop PC using an adapter, then make the drive bootable and transfer the Windows setup files to a WinXX folder on the drive. Then you can re-install it in the laptop and re-install Windows.

I can get into bios now and it only load floppy or hard drive.
I'll try that adapter idea and see what happens
