Exclamation Server Busy Pop-Up Message

When I log into the Internet through the SBC Yahoo DSL, I can start to go into a website then I get the following pop-up message "ServerBusy" with a text message and I have to select one of the following - "Switch To" or "Retry". I click on either one several times before I can finally continue, but just for a short time as the same message pops up again.

I have used spyware and anti-virse software, but canot get this pop-up to go away. I has become a major hindernace.

Has anyone encountered this. The only option I have is to relod the OS to see if I can get rid of it.

Mike

Hi mlongwell

Welcome to CTH

Does this only happen at one site? Could it be that your ISP has a DNS problem. Would you consider installing a different browser? eg FireFox or installing a proxy eg Proxomitron or both?

Cleaning your system out is drastic when it might not be your systems fault.

You say that you have anti-virus and anti-spyware, but is it up-to-date? Do you have protection running all the time. Do you have a firewall?

Please come back with some details of exactly what is happening and exactly what you have done to try to fix it. And we'll take it from there. BF
