I already partitioned the hard drive, installed my cd-rom driver, but then when I run setup it loads the wizard, but right afterwards a little black box appears just above center of the screen and every once in a while an error message appears on the left saying error cannot divide by zero...

can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Follow-up
I ran scanreg and it told me that there is a problem with some of my system files but it does not specify which it says maybe I should try installing windows into a different directory.

Any help?

Is there any data at risk? Can you just run through the procedure all again?

See this link for some detailed info which may help....

Divide Error (Interrupt 0)

This occurs when the destination register cannot hold the result of a divide operation. This could be caused by an attempt to divide by zero, or a divide overflow.

This is the problem but how do I fix it????
