Sorry to bother you with a probably trivial question, but I am not a graphics designer..
I found a site where some animated gifs float randomly over the page.
see http://www.childrensbooksonline.org/library.htm

I have some gifs which I would like also let to float over my site's main page. How is this done?
Please advise or direct me to an appropriate tutorial

Thanks

Not alot of people like it ;)

go here for floating images. (http://search.freefind.com/find.html?id=6299074&pageid=r&mode=ALL&n=0&query=floating+images)

I agree with the previous message. They may look neat but they will not work in all browsers.

Personally I will not stay or pay a return visit to sites that uses them.

Thank you
You are both absolutely right, and I also don’t like too fancy web pages, slowly loading and adorned with unnecessary fixtures. Therefore I build my site as simply as possible.
However my site is designated for children and I want to enliven a little the main page and make it more eye-catching.
Really the process seems to me a little too complicated and I am not sure if I will succeed, but will try.
Thanks anyway
