I NEED help bad

I dont really know whats wrong with my comp (WIN 98 SE)
Every time I try to install some thing the install program will freeze and say its not responding. Then when I get on the net and choose wedsites that are large in size the computer will freeze or take about 30 min to load up the web site and I have cable. I am not a real computer wiz so I really need help

I suggest you download Spybot from http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022-10289035.html?tag=lst-0-2 , install it, update it, and run the scan. When it is done, fix everything. This will get rid of the bad things, if a useful program stops working let us know and we can reverse that.

Then I need you to download (save) this program somewhere (preferably in its own folder) on your computer:

Run the File> Click Scan> Click Save Log> Save it anywhere> and paste the log here (copy and paste) after quickly scanning through it to make sure that it doesn't say your name anywhere if you are concerned about privacy.

This program shows us all the changes that have been made to internet explorer, the only reason it would show your name is if that is a folder name.

When I try to open the hi jack this program It said it was missing a program
MSVBUM60.DLL where can I find a place to download this certain program

I mean MSVBVM60.DLL spelled wrong

And thank you so far for the first program the computer seems to working a little better but still has a hard problem when I go to a big site. such as if I try to download something big instead of download for arond 10 mins or more it downloads in a sec and when double click on it willgo to the open with window and its not suppose to go there at all when the program is not suppose to go there at all.
