Alright Im new to this cybertech forum but you guys seem like you know what your doing so ill just try you guys. Im currently running a win98SE with a P3 and a nvidia video card. I had this "Fatal exception 00 has occured at 0028:CO23DB7F" I've had this problem for about 1 month now and just yesturday I formatted my computer to get rid of it. Unfortunetely the format didnt work I still have it. The wierd thing about this BSOD is that it seems to only occur when i try to play games. Halo it worked fine, counter-strike and giants it fails right away before the game even starts. It usually happens 2 times in a row before it goes away or it just locks up my comp. I have no clue what to do.
