this version of windows runs only on ms-dos 8.00

From beginning....windows 98 upgradeing to ME an in middle of the upgrade got a error message....two system files of some sort....anyways shut computer off and restrarted onlyto find going though normal then windows 98 screen for a few seconds then too screen that says verifying DMI pool data
then this version of windows only runs in dos then C:\> What do i do now???? :dizzy:

Is there data on the drive that you need?

I would recommend formatting the drive and installing WinME from scratch.

thanks degsy for fast reply....trying to f disk now but when i get too delete dos partition or logical drive ...pick 3 and then i getno logical drive to delete
press esc to continue

the next screen is createdos partition or logical drive
set active partition
delete partition or logical drive
display partition information

should i crate one and then delete ?????? nothings ever simple is it?
