My compter is dragging so slowly even when no programs are running. I go to task manager and it reports that 100% CPU usage. I ran AVG and Ad-Aware to get rid of whatever may be jumbling the system but it still lags. Also, while shutting down it said that systemie.exe was doin something, so I deleted that in hopes of bettering the system, but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks a million

Go here and download Spybot Search&Destroy:

Check for updates before running the program. A tutorial can be found under help. You can safely delete what it finds

first off you shouldn't just delete files that aren't working. Granted you got lucky and actually deleted a spyware program but its usually not a good ideal to simply delete things. Second how much memory do you have? How much free harddrive space do you have? When was the last time you defragmented your harddrive?

I would also suggest downloading HijackThis, running the program and then posting your log to see if there is anything that adaware missed.

I think you have the TrojanSpy.Win32.Sisie.e

You will need to stop the running process (systemie.exe) and look for the exe file in C:/windows/system32/ or C:/windows/system/ and delete it.
