learning flash and java

I have been messing around a bit with flash mx and other macromedia programs

Does anyone know where some good tutorials or templates are so I can learn faster, I already looked on macromedia's page and they want money for their training. so has anyone else found something good?

flash has a very high learning curve. You can search google using flash tutorials as keywords and find several. You also can go to amazon.com or some book site and search for a book with a tutorial cd.

I would also recommend the Book + Tutorial route
