Hi ,
I have recently installed two machines with Windows 2000 advanced server, connected via Ethernet to an ADSL on static IP's.
After boot up and connection, the server becomes very busy sending and receiving packets just by itself, no application running, I can see nothing in task manager or system. Because of that the server becomes very very slow. The little Icons in the task left lower corner are always on or blinking. I Windows 2003 server I have does bot do that at the same connection, only busy if you call the IE or email. Cant anybody help?
