Win 2000 Pro Color Drivers

Just got a computer running 2000 pro and it only has 16 colors (not 16-bit, only 16 total colors). Been told to download Win 2000 color drivers, but Google gives 161000 matches, all sorts of stuff. Can anyone tell me whether this is the right thing to do, if not what should I do to get a full set of color options ie 256 color, 16-bit and 24-bit color. If this means getting drivers, I'd be glad to know where, and what they're called, and also where to put them when I get them! Regards, Tonyc,
