Hello all,
Please excuse me if the answer to this is available somewhere...I did a search, but I didn't find anything.
I'm on Windows XP with SP2 (though that doesn't change the problem) with all the latest patches, virus scanner, ad-aware scanner, etc. All systems normal, as far as I can tell.
After some time (mere hours sometimes, though usually a day or two before I notice), FrameworkService.exe and UpdaterUI.exe start eating up CPU. Not a lot--10-20% for FS, maybe 5-10% for UUI. I usually restart to fix this problem, but I suspect it gets a lot worse as time wears on. I tried shutting down just about every program and process I could think of, but nothing solved the problem.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what I might do, please let me know.
