I have a Linksys EtherFast 100Dast TX 4 Port hub connected between my wife and my machine. I have added a Linksys print server EPSX3. Now when I start my machine Dial up connection starts to connect me to the internet. Also at times when you send a print job to the network printer Dial up will try to start. I have had to disable the autoconnect feature. How can I stop Dial up from starting until I ask it to. Which would be when I want to go on line.

Hi,
A few questions. What version of windows are you running?
Is anything in the "startup" folder that would do this? If so, remove it. One way to check is ctrl/alt/del to pull up the window to see what is loaded and running.
If that ain't it, surely there is a setting somewhere to change.

All the available evidence you have given appears to point to the Print server software. Check the configuration and see if you can force it to use the LAN only.

I have talked to Linksys tech support without any luck. How might I force the printserver to see only the LAN
