If you're paying I would recommend Norton.

I'm still using 2001

Or as Lubra suggests, go for a reputable freebie

In my view, the best anti-virus software is the free editions. I have installed AVG Grisoft on my system and it works a treat. If however you were prepared to spend a bit of cash for the added features, then go for Norton. If your not willing to part with that hard earned cash then go to-

There is no best version - not one of them will protect you 100 percent. Whatever you get make sure it will check your email, check your downloads, and make sure it can open and check any zip files. I suggest no matter which one you get, use an online one to scan your system every so often for a second opinion.

Personally I use Nortons Internet Security 2004
