View Full Version : Problem with Norton Antispam / Internet Security

I am running Windows '98 SE, and using Outlook Express. Whenever I try to check my e-mail, it only checks the first 10 messages, then stops responding.

If I turn off the Antispam option in my Norton Internet Security 2004, it checks the e-mail normally, so I'm assuming this is an Antispam issue, and not a problem with Outlook Express.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Welcome :)

Do you have a Webmail login?
See if you can login and see if there are any emails that maybe blocking or freezing the download.

I went to the web login, and checked my mail there. It appears that any message with characters like these "записаться на ближайшие семинары" lock antispam up.

If I manually delete ones such as this from my folder, then retry it from Outlook Express, it does fine until it reaches another one similar to this.

I attempted to set up the message rules, but am not sure what kind of rule would apply in this case.

Thank you for your information though. At least I have a little idea of what's causing it now... a little frustration gone :)
