Hi, this is driving me mad.
Every couple of months this seems to happen to my PC, I am using Windows ME, when I get an error report, e.g using Internet Explorer (Blue Screen reporting an error) and I reboot the computer reports there is an error in the Registry and corrects it and reboots.
This is where the problem starts, the boot-up sequence looks to the Floppy drive first reporting an error. I use my recovery disk but still nothing happens.
I have used scanreg/restore etc, but still it looks to the A: drive first.
The only way around this I have found is to restore the computer to its original settings then do a system restore once it has booted up.
Surely there must be an easier way than this, any help would be greatly appreciated.
