I have run into this issue since the start of installing Windows 2003 Terminal Server. Periodically the printers just hold. When going to print a document the documents acts as if it has froze up. If you let it sits about 45 seconds later the document will unfreeze and the document will print. It does not matter what program you are using to print the document each application acts the same. When this happens I have noticed that if you go to the Printer Control Panel the printer reads "Opening" instead of "Ready" The printers are hooked up to a Win 98 system and networked through the server. No matter what I have tried nothing seems to work, and I can not find a reason for these printers to do this, it just seems to do it when it wants to. The only thing I have noticed is that when the printers go down it seems that the internet goes down also. Yet the network seems to be operating fine as far as sending data to and from the server or even transfering files. If anyone has run into this issue before and has some insight on it that would be great. Thanks in advance
