Does anyone know a good **Free** way to password protect files and especially file folders? We use windows 2000 pro and xp pro and would liek to put all folders in one shared folder that everyone accesses put put passwords on the ones we don't want others to get into.

Why not use Permissions?

That way you can assign users to a group that only has permission to access those folder.

We use Terminal Services for our employees to remotely access our POS system. In order for them to use the POS, they have to have administrator rights (..sucks :upset: ). It's required by the software.
