While troubleshooting an NT 4.0 client machine, I uninstalled TCP\IP. So far, so good. Now I cannot reinstall it. It copies the necessary files from the NT CD, but then stops with these two error messages:
"Registry Service subkey already exists."
"Unable to remove Name Space Provider."

No protocol is installed. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the network card (a RealTek L8029 card), but to no avail. Before I start anything else, I'd love to hear suggestions!

Hi Double Helix, not ignoring you here, I was dead in bed with a cold yesterday. Welcome to cth. Let me do some research and see what I can come up with.
