Hi guys,
After removing some spyware using 'Adaware' my PC will not boot up. Every time I try to power up - I get the message:
"Windows could not upgrade the %1 from %2 %1:%2
Windows could not upgrade one or more system files before starting.
Windows may not start or run properly.
If Windows fails to start, run SETUP again.
Press any key to continue."
At this point my screen freezes, and I can't continue.
It looks as if I've inadvertently deleted some key files. Can anybody offer any advice? I'd like to blame this on the kids, but it was purely my fault!
Any help much appreciated,
Thanks,
Tom
